Vivo T1 Pro 5G passes by Geekbench

by time news

Vivo recently brought some of its major flagship devices to the market in 2022. However, there are many other products that are slated to be launched in the coming months. For example, the company has the camera-focused Vivo X80 series to offer a couple of other mid-range and premium smartphones. Apparently, the company is planning a new variant of the T1 series. For those unaware, the Vivo T1 5G is a 5G smartphone available in India. Now, it looks like the company is working on a Vivo T1 Pro 5G version. Today, this new variant has been spotted in the Geekbench database. The device carries Vivo model number V2151 and was tested with Snapdragon 778G SoC along with 8GB of RAM.

Oddly enough, the phone appears to be carrying the same Snapdragon 778G found in the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G. Therefore, there is a strong chance that the Vivo T1 Pro 5G will arrive in the renamed iQOO Z6 Pro 5G for the Indian market. Of course, this is still a guess on our part. It is worth noting that Vivo is also planning another Snapdragon 778G-powered smartphone for India. A device believed to be the iQOO Neo 6, or at least a variant, has been passed by Geekbench with the same chipset. The Chinese Neo 6 packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, so it’s a big change for the Indian version.

Coming back to this point, the Vivo T1 5G and Vivo iQOO Z6 are basically the same smartphones. The biggest difference depends on the interface. Therefore, we have more chances to see this device rebrand the Vivo T1 Pro 5G.

Vivo T1 Pro 5G ليحمل Snapdragon 778G

The Vivo T1 Pro scores 790 points in the single-core tests and 2859 points in the multi-core section. This finding is fairly familiar to Snapdragon 778G followers. The codename “Lahaina” on Geekbench easily reveals the chip behind this phone. The platform is based on a 6nm architecture and offers 4 ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz. The GPU is Adreno 642L which easily outperforms the Adreno 619 found in modern smartphones with its Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. The device works with Geekbench with 8GB of RAM, but we can leave out more variables. It runs Android 12 which means Funtouch OS 12 or OriginOS Ocean will run on top. Everything depends on the region.

We expect to hear more about this smartphone in the coming weeks. Anyway, the company will likely do a quiet launch with a couple of teasers ahead of the reveal.
