Football: the U14s of PSG and OM launch the Clasico in Sens

by time news

Canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the health crisis, the Tournoi Sans Frontière de Sens, reserved for players in the U14 category, returns for this Easter weekend. From Friday April 15 to Monday April 18, 2022, twenty French and foreign teams will compete, including PSG, Olympique de Marseille, OL, Monaco, Stade Rennais, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Servette Genève. All matches will be free to the public.

We no longer present this tournament, reputed to be one of the most prestigious in France, in this age category. Indeed, many international players have participated since its origin, in 1994: Antoine Griezmann, Karim Benzema, Raphaël Varane, Benjamin Pavard or Ousmane Dembélé. In total, 17 of the 23 2018 world champions have walked the grounds of the younger Yonne.

That says a lot about this benchmark tournament which, for this edition, will be sponsored by Franck Raviot, the goalkeeper coach of the French team. He was already to sponsor the 2020 edition. The draw for the “TSF” took place last month, in the halls of the Hôtel de Ville de Sens and reserved a highly anticipated Clasico between PSG and OM from the first day this Friday. A very nice wink since the big ones will face each other on Sunday evening at the Parc des Princes, at the end of the 32nd day of Ligue 1.
