Criticism of Slovenian government over public finances ahead of elections – Slovenia

by time news

Ljubljana – The Slovenian government has been criticized for wanting to cover up poor prospects for public finances ahead of the parliamentary elections. The opposition accuses the government of right-wing Prime Minister Janez Jansa of delaying due budget documents in order not to have to talk about a “huge financial hole” immediately before the elections, Slovenian media reported. The government intends to present the documents only after the election on April 24th.
