A light show with drones in L’Escala inaugurated this Thursday evening the tenth edition of the festival ÍTACA, Culture and Action, which until July will offer thirty-six concerts, three shows of lights with drones and two commemorative murals in eight towns in the Empordà and the city ​​Girona. More than a thousand people witnessed the show which combines art and technology and has illuminated the sky of L’Escala with large figures, up to one hundred meters high and fifty wide, including the words “ITACA” and “L’ESCALA ‘ The proposal was made by Flock Drone Art, a pioneering company in Catalonia and one of the first in Europe in the conceptualization, design and production of this type of show.

The festival also starts this weekend in L’Escala the concerts of its tenth edition. This Saturday, the musical program will kick off with a traveling concert by LaDinamo, which will start at 7 pm, on the beach of Les Barques. At 8.30 pm, the car park on Avinguda Francesc Macià will host a night of concerts with performances by Buhos, La Fúmiga, Despit and Doble & Hug Sound and La Basement Band. On Sunday 17 April, at 11.30 am, a family concert will be held with the group Xiula, which will present the show “Big Chicken”.
