In this situation, the price of gold has been rising since the last 5 days. Following this, the price was seen rising yesterday. Yesterday, a gram of gold traded at Rs 4,996 and a pound at Rs 39,968. As of yesterday evening, it was trading at Rs 16 per gram, Rs 128 per pound, at Rs 5,122 per gram and Rs 40,96 per pound.

Thus, after 35 days of gold price, a pound crossed the Rs 40,000 level again yesterday. Gold prices have risen by Rs 202 per gram and Rs 1,616 per pound in the last 10 days alone. Like the price of gold, the price of silver rose yesterday. Yesterday, the gram price rose by Rs 40 per gram to Rs 400, to Rs 74.60 per gram and Rs 74,600 per kg.
