The daily corona infection hit new highs again on Friday in Shanghai, China. Corona confirmed 3,200 people there in the last 24 hours alone.
Across China, 3,472 new cases of corona have been confirmed and 20,782 have been asymptomatic, officials said.
In Shanghai, where the general ban has been in place for more than two weeks, residents are suffering from a variety of problems, including food shortages and delays in transporting patients to treatment centers. According to the state media, this has led to a wave of public opposition to the Chinese government’s tough anti-Corona policy.
