It is reported that KGF has surpassed the first day collection of Vijay movie Beast Kerala. The film is said to have grossed Rs 7.1 crore on its first day in Kerala alone. Beast earned Rs 6.6 crore. Some tweets also claim that KGF has surpassed Odian’s record. On the first day of the collection, the Beast was unable to overtake the peony. Despite being released together, KGF’s leap beyond Vijay has become a hot topic in the film industry. KGF is making great strides in the box office collection of all South Indian languages.

KGF2 has been released in over 10,000 screens worldwide. According to reports, various language versions of the film are available on around 6500 screens across India. In addition, the Hindi version alone is displayed on about 4000 screens. All this is unheard of in the history of an original Kannada film.

The first part of the film was released in December 2018. It was released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The film reached the 100 crore club in two weeks. KGF is the second film to achieve this feat after Bahubali.
