The Blue Graph Digital Foundation has published a book entitled ‘Modi and Ambedkar’. Composer Ilayaraja has written the foreword to this book. In it he said, ‘We must encourage those who implement his ideas and thoughts as much as we know Ambedkar. This book seeks to explore the point where the Modi government’s measures for the development of the country, industry, social justice, women’s advancement, and Ambedkar’s views meet.
Prime Minister Modi’s Make in India project has achieved various achievements. Prime Minister Modi has made a huge difference in the lives of Muslim women through the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Act. Similarly, the ‘Let’s Protect Girl Child – Teach Girl Child’ program and the decision to raise the age of marriage for women will no doubt take the female community on a path of development.
Ambedkar would be proud to see such activities of the Modi regime. Netizens have been criticizing this on social media. In a statement, former Union Minister Pon. Radhakrishnan said, ‘I have so far seen the musician Ilayaraja as a composer, poet and singer as a spiritual figure. I had the opportunity to read Ilayaraja’s foreword to the book Ambedkar and Modi, currently published by the Bluecraft Digital Foundation.
The comments he made about Ambedkar in its first paragraph were heartbreaking. We all appreciate Ambedkar’s struggle to protect the dignity of the marginalized in society. In it, Ilayaraja referred to Ambedkar’s dreams and Prime Minister Modi’s implementation of the ambitious plan to stand in Ambedkar’s way and build toilets for all households.
It is the nature of the good to see with gratitude those who have experienced adversity and overcame it, and who have voluntarily improved their people. Those who have read and understood the lines of our Ian Valluvar, who wrote that the help rendered by time is the greatness of grief and that there is no life to be thankful for, should never forget Ambedkar and Prime Minister Modi.
