Sheikh Mohammed and the Deputy Governor, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Dubai Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed the guests and exchanged Ramadan greetings. They also discussed the great values that Ramadan inspires in people. Sheikh Mohammed said that the UAE continues to be moderate and tolerant under the leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa and will promote compassion and peace among the nations of the world. He then congratulated Sheikh Ibrahim bin Al Akhdar bin Ali Al Qayyim, winner of the Islamic Personality Award, and the top 10 winners of the 25th edition of the Dubai International Holy Qur’an Award for their future endeavors.
