MUMBAI: The BCCI has decided to hold the IPL Closing Ceremony in Ahmedabad with colorful performances as the Corona scandal has been completely canceled. Celebrations were canceled in 2019 due to the Pulwama terrorist attack and the amount for the ceremony was donated to the families of the victims of the Pulwama attack.
Fans are allowed to watch matches in the current series as the corona infection is low. But, the opening ceremony did not take place. In this case, the number of fans has increased from 25 percent to 50 percent, as the corona harassment has been completely canceled. According to IPL sources, this will be increased to 100 per cent. Therefore, the BCCI has decided to celebrate the closing ceremony on May 29 with a multi-purpose art show. It has also consulted with IPL executives about it. The play-off round and final will be held at the Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The decision will be made at the end of May depending on the condition of the corona spread.
