The DMK has promised to provide one lakh agricultural electricity connections to farmers in Tamil Nadu in a year. Announced in the election statement. First Minister MK Stalin had a video conference with the farmers in Chennai yesterday.

Similarly, a discussion program with farmers who got free electricity connection in Omalur division was held yesterday at Thirajlal Gandhi College of Technology, Sikkanampatti. 984 people were selected and benefited from areas including Omalur, Tharamangalam, Kadayampatti, Nangavalli, Vanavasi, Divattipatti, Chinnathirupathi, Vellar, Alakusamudram. Of these, 500 attended. Omalur Power Engineers Sankara Subramanian, Anparasan, Chitra and many others were present.
