Demonstration to demand implementation of Palani railway project!

A protest was held at the Erode railway station on behalf of Pamaka demanding speedy implementation of the Erode-Palani railway line project.

The Erode-Tharapuram-Palani 91 km new railway line project has been announced at a project cost of Rs 149 crore. However, the project has been put on hold by the central government for the past several years. In this context, a protest was held in Erode on behalf of the BJP, urging the Central and State Governments to take action to expedite the completion of the Erode-Palani railway reserve project. The protest in front of the Erode railway station was led by the party’s deputy state secretary general Parameswaran.

During the demonstration, slogans were raised against the central and state government. He also urged the central and state governments to implement the scheme immediately so that the public can visit tourist sites including Palani Spiritual Rehabilitation and Kodaikanal through this project. The protest was attended by all party leaders, including state vice-president Paramasivam, state minority secretary Sheikh Mukaitheen, central district secretary Prabhu, municipal secretary Raj, western district secretary Murthy and eastern district secretary Rachu.
