Julian McMahon left his mark on television and film for over two decades. From 2000 to 2005, his portrayal of Cole Turner/Balthazar in “Charmed” made him one of the series’ most complex characters. His role as Dr. Christian Troy in “Nip/Tuck” (2003-2010) earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
He also played Dr. Doom in the “Fantastic Four” films (2005, 2007) and FBI agent Jess Lacroix in “FBI: Most Wanted” (2020-2022).
Remembering a “unique” talent
McMahon’s wife, Kelly, announced his death, stating, “I would like to tell the world with an open heart that my beloved husband Julian McMahon died peacefully this week after a brave fight against cancer. Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work and he loved his fans.”
The death of McMahon follows the recent death of Michael Madsen.
