The Brazilian side regrets having been pushed towards leaving PSG in 2012 when his compatriot told him that he was counting on him.

In an interview given to The Team , Marcos Ceara returned to his experience at Paris SG between 2007 and 2012. A stint in the capital that ended in disappointment. The Brazilian side details the circumstances of this departure which he did not want but which was more or less imposed on him while Leonardo, sporting director, seemed to include him in the team’s projects with Carlo Ancelotti. He then details his biggest regret at Paris SG: “To have been pushed out when QSI arrived (in 2011). I was captain of PSG and Leonardo had called me to warn me of Ancelotti’s arrival and to tell me that he was counting on me for this project. But he wasn’t honest as he was looking to sign Daniel Alves or Maicon. I regret it because I could have contributed to this change of mentality. I was ready, I wanted. I would have progressed by playing with more professional, more efficient players… I refused a proposal from Saint-Étienne and returned to Brazil (at Cruzeiro, in 2012)
