Gruesome Details Emerge

In January 2024, a chilling 14-minute video surfaced on YouTube, allegedly showing Justin D. Mohn, 33, displaying his father’s severed head. The video was removed from the platform a few hours after being posted. Authorities say the victim, Michael Mohn, 68, was an engineer in the geo-environmental section of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Justin Mohn reportedly described his father in the video as a “20-year federal employee” and labeled him a “traitor.”

Did you know? Michael Mohn was found by his wife in the bathroom of their family home in Levittown, Pennsylvania.

Investigators believe Justin Mohn shot his father with a recently purchased pistol before beheading him with a kitchen knife and a machete at their family home in Levittown, Pennsylvania. The gruesome discovery was made by the suspect’s mother.

Delusional Rants and Million-Dollar Bounty

The video allegedly features Justin Mohn displaying his father’s head in a bucket. It also contains what authorities described as delusional rants against the administration. Mohn reportedly railed against taxes, claiming the economy is “on the verge of destruction” and that most Americans can “no longer afford to realize the American dream.”

Mohn allegedly offered a million-dollar bounty to anyone who could kill senior government officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and former Attorney General Bill Barr.

Asylum Request and Arrest

Following the alleged murder, Mohn was arrested the next day after breaching a six-meter fence at Fort Indiantown Gap, the headquarters of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Bucks County Prosecutor Jennifer Schorn stated at a press conference last year that Mohn hoped soldiers would “mobilize the Pennsylvania National Guard to raise their arms against the federal government.”

At the time of his arrest, investigators found a USB key containing photos of federal buildings and what appeared to be instructions for making explosives.

Desperate Measures

Mohn also reportedly penned a letter to the Russian ambassador to the United States, seeking asylum and apologizing to President Vladimir Poutine for once claiming to be the Tsar of Russia.
