Palakkad: In Kerala, the Pinarayi Vijayan government is giving all possible help and support to the Popular Front, said BJP state president K. Surendran. The Central Government will be informed of the critical situation in Kerala. Surendran said that when Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrives in Kerala on the 29th, he will bring these issues to his attention.

The Government of Kerala supports the activities of the Popular Front like no other state. That is why the Pinarayi government opposes the CBI probe. Comparing the Popular Front with the RSS is like whitewashing them. Surendran told reporters.

In Kerala, the SDPI operates with the full support of the government. The CPM is in the hands of the police. Police have failed miserably in investigating terrorism cases. Surendran said the police and the CPM were assisting the accused in the murders committed by the SDPI.

No other state has the critical situation that has developed in Kerala. This is a threat to the whole country. There should be a nationwide protest against this. The move is to mitigate the killings in Palakkad, Alappuzha and Vayalar by pointing them out as isolated incidents. This is the great danger facing the country.

Surendran opined that all the murders in Alappuzha, Vayalar and Palakkad were unilateral. In all previous cases, the police did not attempt to arrest the culprits or expose the conspiracy.

The CBI had asked the high court to probe the murder of Sanjith in Palakkad. The state government took a pro-SDPI stance. The government, which opposed the CBI probe, said it had a bizarre reason to hear the arguments of the accused.

The government has taken such a stand to help the militants for fear that the conspiracy will come out if the CBI comes. Why is the state government opposed to the CBI investigating cases? Surendran also asked what discussions should be held behind the table with a separate religious terrorist organization.
