In Jerusalem, at the heart of the clashes on the esplanade of the mosques

REPORTAGE – The weekend of Passover, the Jewish Passover, was marked by clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces which left 20 injured.

On this day after Passover, the Jewish Passover, litanies rise from the Wailing Wall while detonations come from the al-Aqsa mosque, the third holiest site in Islam. On the footbridge leading non-Muslims to the esplanade of the mosques, we come across Western tourists attracted by the religious site despite the ongoing confrontation and Israeli clerics who often come with their families who do not want to miss the appointment of traditional festivals.
