A fire broke out recently (Monday) on the fifth floor of the hospital tower at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer. Hospital staff and firefighters who arrived at the scene gained control of the fire and ward patients were evacuated and transferred to other wards.
The hospital said that at this stage it is known about two casualties in a mild and stable condition who are being treated in the general emergency room.
The fire and rescue services reported that the smoke was evacuated and hospitalized returned to their rooms with the approval of the district commander.
