Protesters besiege the office of the President of Sri Lanka
Colombo: Protesters besieged the Sri Lankan president’s office due to the severe economic crisis in Sri Lanka.
A large number of protesters took part in the protest on Sunday night chanting the slogan ‘Bo Gotabhaya Po’.
Already in Colombo, a massive protest was taking place outside the Chancellor’s office last night.
They blamed President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa’s corrupt rule and misguided policies for the country’s worst economic deficit and chanted for his immediate resignation.
