How Glacier Landed in AEW
The path to AEW for Glacier involved a long-standing relationship with QT Marshall. “Q.T. and I, we talk all the time,” Glacier explained. He frequently assisted with training camps, which naturally led to discussions about potential coaching opportunities. Glacier, who cherishes the opportunity to teach and mentor, expressed his interest. This led to conversations with Sonjay Dutt, a friend of two decades. Together, they initiated the process that brought Glacier into the AEW fold. He noted that the company accommodated his schedule, allowing him to finish the school year before starting, about a week later, last June. “It’s been about a year for me,” he stated.
A Passion for Coaching and Mentoring
Glacier shared his deep satisfaction with his current role, stating, “I don’t know if I can put it into words how much I absolutely love going to work and doing this.” His enthusiasm stems from being immersed in wrestling and supporting emerging talent. “Anything that I can do to help in any way, I’m gladly willing to do so,” he said, highlighting the positive environment. Reflecting on his career, he admitted, “Years ago, I didn’t know if I would be in wrestling again, especially at this level.” The opportunity to wake up daily and engage with the wrestling world fills him with gratitude. “I’m a very, very fortunate person and I don’t take it for granted at all,” he emphasized. Glacier is dedicated to contributing his best to the company and cherishing the experience.
