Allo Beirut Returns Home with Lebanon Opening

Allo Beirut’s first Lebanese restaurant will debut on Hamra Street in late October 2025.

What is the most significant detail about Allo Beirut’s upcoming Lebanon opening? Allo Beirut is returning to its roots, opening its first Lebanese location in late October 2025 on Hamra Street in Beirut, the city that sparked its inspiration.

This expansion into its fourth market is being managed through a franchise partnership with Fashmore Holding. Allo Beirut currently boasts operational locations across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.

Charbel Mhanna, CEO of Black Spoon, expressed his pride in the announcement. “We are proud to announce Allo Beirut’s entry into Lebanon, a homecoming that holds deep meaning for our entire team,” Mhanna stated. “For the past seven years, we’ve been celebrating Beirut; its food, its energy, and its spirit across the UAE, and more recently in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. We’ve been proud to carry a piece of the city into new places and share it with new audiences.”

Mhanna further elaborated on the significance of the Hamra Street location. “Hamra Street represents the cultural heart of Beirut, and its vibrant energy perfectly mirrors the spirit of Allo Beirut,” he said. “Together with our partners at Fashmore Holding, we’re committed to delivering an experience that not only celebrates the flavours of Beirut, but feels like Beirut.”

The new restaurant will span 675 square meters across three floors and accommodate about 100 guests. Its design features an open concept intended to capture a Beirut street atmosphere, complete with dedicated stations for manoushe, shawarma, and fresh juices. Each floor will offer a distinct ambiance while maintaining the brand’s core identity. A grab-and-go section is also included, tailored for Hamra’s busy urban clientele. The menu will feature Allo Beirut’s signature dishes, alongside new creations developed specifically for the local market.

Bassam Assaad, Chairman of Fashmore Holding, noted that the partnership aligns with his company’s strategic focus on experience-led food and beverage concepts. “This partnership is built on a shared vision and true synergy,” Assaad stated. “Allo Beirut is a brand that captures the essence of a city, and bringing it back to where it all began is incredibly meaningful. This is more than a franchise; it’s a full-circle story. And we can’t wait to serve the flavour, rhythm, and energy of Beirut again, in Beirut.”

Future Growth: Beyond the initial Hamra opening, Allo Beirut and Fashmore Holding plan to open an additional three to five locations across Lebanon within the next two to three years, with site exploration already underway.

The Lebanon expansion is a key component of Allo Beirut’s broader regional growth strategy. Since its 2018 debut in the UAE, the brand has successfully extended its reach to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
