by Sofia Alvarez

Ilary Blasi revealed in a recent interview that she won a legal battle against Alfonso Signorini for a topless photo taken inside her home in Formentera.

Ilary Blasi discusses her history with paparazzi and her legal win against Alfonso Signorini.

  • Ilary Blasi won a lawsuit against Alfonso Signorini over a topless photo.
  • She considers paparazzi photos part of the industry “game.”
  • The incident led to a friendship between Blasi and Signorini.
  • Blasi managed the intense media scrutiny during her divorce from Francesco Totti by creating distance.

Signorini and Blasi’s Complex Relationship

Ilary Blasi recently opened up about her relationship with the press, specifically detailing a past legal dispute with Alfonso Signorini. The host of Battiti Live shared these reflections within the pages of the magazine Chi. Despite a past legal confrontation, the current atmosphere between Blasi and Signorini is amicable, stemming from their shared experience on Grande Fratello Vip.

Blasi reflected on her career, noting that Chi has been a constant presence, publishing many of her early paparazzi photos. She explained that she generally doesn’t stress about gossip or paparazzi, viewing it as an inherent part of her profession. However, she admitted that the intense media attention surrounding her divorce from Francesco Totti did create extra pressure.

“I think all my first paparazzi photos have published them. I have never angry, apart from once,” Blasi stated. “You photographed me topless inside the house in Formentera.”

Winning a Privacy Case

The topless photo in question was not taken in a public space like a beach or a boat, but rather inside Blasi’s home. This context led her to pursue legal action against Chi and Signorini. Blasi confirmed, “I won.”

This legal outcome mirrors a past case involving Paola Barale, who also sued Signorini for a topless photo from 2017. Barale, however, lost her case. She expressed her frustration, stating, “We complain when a bully makes a video and publishes it on social media. If this is the message, however, why should we punish a boy?”

Interestingly, months after the legal proceedings, Blasi and Signorini found themselves together on the set of Grande Fratello Vip. The legal issues were seemingly put aside, as Blasi recounted, “We have become friends, we joked and love was born.” This past legal sensation, with its previously unknown resolution, has now come to light.

Navigating the Totti Separation

The separation from Francesco Totti was arguably the most intense period of tabloid attention in Blasi’s career. She described creating a personal shield to avoid being overwhelmed by the constant rumors.

“I didn’t read the newspapers. I didn’t look at anything anymore,” she explained. “I understood that it was the hot moment and so it came out of everything and more. Even many things not true. There was a lot of smoke.” After a year of public speculation where she remained silent, Blasi launched a TV series and a book, a strategy she called her “ilariata,” which she described as a successful move despite the personal challenge of holding back her truth.
