An Israeli software solution enables three-dimensional mapping of assets using skimmers

The start-up vHive, which has developed a system that makes it possible to produce a digital copy of a physical asset by photographing autonomous gliders, is recruiting 35 workers in Israel and abroad.

Weheib was started in 2017 by Yariv Geller, the company’s CEO and former VP of marketing at Comverse and Tomer Daniel, VP of technology, who previously worked at Intel as a technical leader and software architecture. The company has so far raised $ 36.5 million and currently employs 30 people at headquarters. In Herzliya Pituach and around the world, among the customers of Deutsche Telekom, who also invested in the company, as well as companies such as SBA, Phoenix Tower International, Bechtel.

The system developed by the company allows organizations to collect information about physical assets, to produce digital twins that are a digital copy of the physical asset. The process is done autonomously by using skimmers controlled by the software developed by the company.

The system produces products that are two-dimensional and three-dimensional models of properties such as cellular towers, cranes and buildings. Through artificial intelligence and visual information analysis, business and operational insights can be derived from these digital twins.

The software enables organizations to operate an autonomous group of skimmers that work together to collect, manage and process information from the field for the entire organization, which translates into operational and business insights.

The system provides a simple-to-use user interface, engineering measurement capability and automatic identification of equipment and faults. vHive has trained its artificial intelligence platform on the basis of a wealth of information gathered by its customers, which creates hard-to-emulate differentiation from competitors.

The company’s ability to connect the physical and digital world enables organizations to digitally transform their assets in the field, visually access information and quickly gain business insights, while saving on operating expenses, creating new sources of revenue and maintaining employee safety.

Tomer Daniel, co-founder and VP of technology: “Vayib develops a visual platform that combines 2D and 3D, connects the physical and digital worlds and combines a large number of technologies including Web, mobile, algorithms, machine vision and artificial intelligence and therefore creates a professional challenge and interest for developers. We believe that everything we do should bring value to our customers, by listening to the needs and problems they face and finding creative solutions. “
