Daughter is a movie directed by Jayaram Sathyan Anthikkad after 12 years. The film is set to release on April 29. The daughter’s trailer was released by activists a few days ago. The trailer was meant to be a beautiful family portrait. It was also revealed that the film will be released as the last part of the trailer. The daughter is coming to the theaters for the Eid release. Sathyan Anthikkad’s daughter was announced in April 2021.
After a long hiatus, Jayaram, Sathyan Anthikkad and Meera Jasmine’s co-starrer has been making headlines since its announcement. Jayaram-Sathyan Anthikkad’s last release in 2010 was Katha Thudarunnu released in 2010. Today’s Thought is the last film released by Sathyan Anthikkad and Meera Jasmine. Today’s Thought was published in 2008. Sathyan Anthikkad’s Daughter is the sequel to the 2018 film Prakashan.

Makal is a film written by Iqbal Kuttipuram for Sathyan Anthikkad after films like An Indian Love Story and Jomon’s Gospels. The film is being produced by Central Productions. The cinematography of the film is by S Kumar. Devika Sanjay, who played the role of Tina in Prakashan, will play another important role in the film.

The film stars Meera Jasmine and Jayaram along with Sreenivasan, Siddique, Naslin, Innocent, Altaf Salim, Jayashankar, Diana Hameed, Meera Nair, Sreedhanya, Nilja Baby and Balaji Manohar. The music is composed by Vishnu Vijay with lyrics by Harinarayan. Background music is by Rahul Raj. Six years later, Meera Jasmine is making a comeback with Sathyan Anthikkad’s Daughter.
