German Chancellor Olaf Scholes says Ukraine will fund the purchase of anti-tank weapons and ammunition from German arms manufacturers. German aid will also be provided to repair damage to Ukrainian tanks and armored vehicles during the war.
Further economic sanctions against Russia were another item on the agenda. This follows Selensky’s request for NATO allies to send more weapons to Kiev.
Selensky tweeted that they should be provided with artillery, armored vehicles, air defense systems and warplanes to help deter Russian troops from the war and prevent their war crimes.
“No one but Ukraine can stop Russia with heavy weapons,” Selensky said. Meanwhile, hundreds of civilians were found dead in Ukraine, where Russian troops have retreated.
The bodies of about 900 civilians were found in mass graves in the city of Bucha. It was followed by 269 bodies found in Irpin. Most of the bodies had their hands tied behind their backs.

However, since Ukraine is not a NATO member, NATO will not be able to go directly to war. Some war experts claim that Selensky’s persistent demand for NATO membership prompted Russia to go to war.
War experts say that if NATO allies go to war to help Ukraine, it will have far-reaching repercussions. Russia’s conflict with NATO will upset the world situation.
Therefore, the NATO alliance now aims to supply Ukraine with the military weapons it needs without directly participating in the war. Ukraine has been supplying arms to EU countries and the US since before the war began.
