From Tuesday, people with a (serious) immune disorder will receive an invitation for a repeat shot against the corona virus. This concerns people who are being treated by a medical specialist for a specific condition or who are prescribed certain medicines.
The people concerned will receive the invitation by letter from their medical specialist. People with an immune disorder run a greater risk of serious illness if they become infected with the corona virus. They can now, at least three months after their booster shot, get a repeat shot.
This repeat shot is a vaccine from BioNTech/Pfizer or from Moderna. It is not possible to make a choice yourself, emphasizes the GGD. From Wednesday 20 April, people with an immune disorder can go to the GGD locations in the province of Groningen for their repeat injection. The invitation letter states how the appointment can be made.
