It has been reported that the foreign player of the Delhi Capitals team Tim Simford has been affected by the corona.

Last week, Delhi team physiotherapist Patrick Farhard was isolated after suffering from corona. After this the number of victims of corona increased. Five people in the Delhi squad, including Patrick Furhard and Australian Mitchell Marsh, have been affected by the corona. A corona test conducted on Tuesday revealed that all but five members of the Delhi team did not have corona.

Following this, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah announced that the match between Delhi and Punjab, which was scheduled to be played in Pune today, would be played at the Brabourne Ground in Mumbai.

Five members of the Delhi team affected by the corona have to be isolated for seven days. They can join the team after confirming that the corona is not present in both test results.

The IPL match in India last year was postponed due to corona damage. Then the 2nd part of the IPL match was played in the United Arab Emirates.

According to PTI, another foreign player from the Delhi team has been affected by the corona. All the members of the Delhi team underwent a corona test this morning. It has been revealed that New Zealand wicketkeeper batsman Tim Seyford has been affected by the corona. As a result, the number of Delhi team members affected by the corona has risen to six. This raises the question of whether today’s match between Delhi and Punjab will go ahead as planned.
