Former AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala is being held at his residence in the city by the private police in connection with the Kodanadu murder and robbery case.
He is being questioned about the properties in Kodanad and the missing items. He is also being investigated over the discovery of missing documents in a hotel in Chennai in Kodanad.
Based on the ownership of the Kodanadu Estate, the Western Region IG. Sudhakar-led private police are investigating him. It is noteworthy that so far more than 200 people have been personally investigated in connection with the Kodanadu murder and robbery that took place in 2017.
