The clip that managed to stir up the network recently is by singer Stromaa Fils De Joie (son of a protagonist), who appears on his new album and plays the voices of four men in the life of a woman in prostitution – a prostitute, a pimp, a policeman and her son. In the clip, Stromaa plays the four men, with the song’s name signaling which of the four men he most identifies with. The woman’s own voice is not heard, as has become common in a society that silences and excludes her from the discourse.
Stromaa talks about the stigmas, the violence, the justifications that are often heard towards the profession – and even the women’s complex relationships with their children, something that many do not take into account when expressing their opinions on the subject.
The singer intended to create a tribute to women in prostitution, whom he calls heroines and in many cases they die without anyone paying them last respects. Because if it is not enough that society has treated you violently all your life – now your death also symbolizes exactly the same situation
