The original initiative of the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois football club with an academy in Guinea-Conakry

It is a unique project in France. SGS Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, a National 2 club (fourth division), created a partnership last summer with the Bonfi Academy in Guinea-Conakry. Such an initiative had so far only been attempted by a few Ligue 1 clubs: Marseille, Lyon or Metz. The Lorraine club works with Génération Foot, in Dakar, where Liverpool striker Sadio Mané is from. And if this Essonne club has set up this original partnership, it is thanks to one of its leaders, Mory Konaté.
