Anthony Wakma, a former Hapoel Beer Sheva player, has been in the headlines of the Turkish sports sections for a long time during which his future was in the fog, but tonight (Thursday) the country reports that the Nigerian, who is ending his contract at Trabzonspor this summer, has concluded his terms at luxury club Fenerbahce.
According to reports, the player and the club from Istanbul have reached an agreement on a three-year contract, during which the player will earn 2.750 million euros, in addition to a signing grant of 1.5 million euros. Wakma is expected to make the final decision within two weeks, noting that despite the conclusion, he is also considering further proposals, including from the Qatari club.
Since arriving at Trabzonspor from Hapoel Beer Sheva in 2018 for € 1.1 million, the Nigerian has become one of the best foreigners in the Turkish league, with 44 goals and 40 assists in 141 games in the blue-and-purple uniform.
