Two new labs to help companies

by time news

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has set up two new laboratories.

New companies focusing on green technology will get help through those labs to expand from research development to business.

Both laboratories are located in the ‘JDC Cleantech One’ building in Xu Koon.

Labs will help new companies and small and medium enterprises.

With that help those companies can test and refine their technologies. It was also reported that the labs would help companies grow in their own way by connecting with larger companies.

Nanyang Technological University reported the details in a statement yesterday. Two new laboratories began operations last year.

The two laboratories were launched yesterday under the Energy Innovation and Environmental Laboratory Center Project, a joint venture between NTU, Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Sustainable Energy Association.

Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry Lo Yen Ling attended the event.

Oil prices have risen due to recent events such as the war in Ukraine. Minister Low noted that it highlights the need for Singapore to look for alternative fuel routes.
