10 killed in series of bomb blasts in Afghanistan; 40 people injured | Dynamics

Kabul: At least 10 people have been killed in a series of bombings in Afghanistan. Forty of the injured have been admitted to hospital.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a mosque in northern Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. Of these, 10 died. Similarly, 40 people were injured and hospitalized in two consecutive blasts. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. However, the attack targeted Shia Muslim-majority areas.

Two days ago, six people, including students, were killed in a school bombing in the capital, Kabul.
