Prices of all essential commodities, including petrol, diesel and food, have skyrocketed due to the severe economic crisis in Sri Lanka. Ordinary, poor people are facing severe difficulties there.
Meanwhile, 5 more Sri Lankans have arrived in the Serangoda area as refugees. Thirteen of them arrived in Dhanushkodi as refugees at midnight today.
It is noteworthy that 47 people have come to Tamil Nadu as refugees from Sri Lanka so far due to the economic crisis.
