Islamabad: Pakistan’s Finance Minister Mifta Ismail has said that Imran Khan spent Rs 55 crore on his daily commute from his home in Bani Gala to his office.
During his three years in power, Imran traveled by helicopter every day for eight months. For its fuel
55 crore was spent.
Imran’s helicopter trip had already drawn criticism. Fawad Chaudhry, a follower of Imran and the then finance minister, explained that a very small amount of money had been spent for this. Chaudhry said the cost of a helicopter ride was 55 Pakistani rupees per kilometer. The Finance Minister has released the figures against this.
