Jewelery gold rose by Rs 152 to Rs 39,720 per ounce in Chennai on Friday.
Gold prices have been rising in Chennai since March this year, with the Russian-Ukrainian war on the upswing. Was seen declining for a few days. It has risen over the last one week and crossed Rs 40,000 again last week. After a few days it started to decline again. The pound traded lower by Rs 136 to Rs 39,568 on Thursday.
In Chennai, gold rose by Rs 150 to Rs 39,720 per ounce on Friday. Gold rose by Rs 19 to Rs 4,965 per gram.
At the same time, silver is down by 90 paise to Rs 71.10 per gram and bullion is selling at Rs 73,500 per kg.
