Udupi: The authorities have sent back two students who had come to appear for the Class XII examination wearing hijab without complying with the court order. Alia Azadi and Resham, students who had earlier complained about the controversy, came to the exam wearing hijab. But the court ordered the order to be returned. The incident took place at the examination center of Vidyodaya PU College in Udupi.

They were stopped while trying to collect hall tickets and enter the examination hall. The second phase board examination for Class XII students started in Karnataka on Friday.
