Eid Holidays | 9 days holiday announced for Eid in UAE

Dubai: (www.kvartha.com) The UAE Federal Government has announced a nine-day holiday for Eid al-Fitr employees. April 30 to May 6 is the Eid holiday, followed by Saturday and Sunday weekends. This was announced by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources.

The UAE Lunar Committee will meet on May 1 to confirm the new moon. This year, Eid-ul-Fitr falls on May 2, according to astronomical estimates. The private sector, on the other hand, can take up to four days of paid leave. Private sector employees in the UAE are entitled to paid leave.
