Srinivasan murder case; Police intensify probe, CASE DIARY – KERALA

Palakkad: The three accused arrested yesterday in the murder case of RSS leader Srinivasan will be produced in court today. The arrested are Ashwah (23) from Kunnumpuram, Saddam Hussain (30) from Akkapadam, Kannirapuzha and Ashraf (29) from Kavilpad Kallamparampil.

Ashwa and Ashraf were involved in the conspiracy. Saddam Hussein was arrested on suspicion of plotting to assassinate President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. So far seven people have been arrested in the case. More arrests are likely today. Six people who were directly involved in the murder are still at large. ADGP Vijay Sakhar said the search for them has been intensified.

The court yesterday remanded Mohammad Bilal (22), Mohammad Rizwan (20), Riyasuddin (35), Puthupparyaram Industrial Estate and Parappath Thodi Sahad (22) from Kalpathy Shankhuwaramedu, Palakkad. Police will file a custody application for the accused today.
