Macron’s staging is emulated

by time news

Sunday April 24, Emmanuel Macron was re-elected with 58.7% of the vote. He will therefore once again be the President of France, “failing to be the president of the French”, for the next five years. For his inauguration speech, he arrived hand in hand with his wife, surrounded by several children of members of his campaign team.

“We all fight, each with our differences, our sincerities, for our children”

This staging, if it pleased some, outraged many others. In particular because Emmanuel Macron does not rule out the return of the vaccination pass, nor even compulsory vaccination for his next five-year term, and could therefore force more young people to be bitten. Note also that some of his collaborators (and friends) have been accused of incest, even pedophilia, such as Olivier Duhamel or Claude Lévêque. As a result, this displayed proximity of Emmanuel Macron surrounded by young people, if it looks good on camera, sounds quite false on paper. Moreover, some Internet users could not help but point out the rather sheepish pout of Brigitte Macron.

A particular choice within the framework of the French presidential election, which is usually made under the Marseillaise. Internet users have also jumped on the occasion to reproach Emmanuel Macron for his lack of patriotism. Among them Alain Houpert, Emmanuel de Villiers or even Laure Lavalette, spokesperson for the Rassemblement national:

Others were rather pleased with this image:

Still others, more imaginative, draw a parallel with the Pied Piper of Hamelin, a sad German legend transcribed in particular by the famous Grimm brothers:
