Baburaj is a rising star in the Malayalam film industry. He has acted in Tamil films like Sketch, Jana and Veerame Vagai Soodum. Arun Kumar, a businessman from Kothamangalam, Kerala, has filed a fraud case against him for playing a villain in Vishal’s recent film Veerame Vagai Soodum.
He went on to say that the resort in Munnar had been leased out with an advance of Rs 40 lakh and a rent of Rs 3 lakh by 2020, after which the resort was closed for several days due to the Corona riots. He also said that when the curfew was lifted and reopened, it was revealed that the site had been acquired by the Revenue Department in 2018.
But he said that Baburaj had cheated him by hiding it and renting it to him and when he asked for a refund of the advance he had given, he refused. Following this, the Adimali police have registered a case against Baburaj and are investigating.
