Electronic entry visa system introduced in the private sector in Kuwait. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the e-Visa service is available through the Company Services Portal. The new system will take effect on Monday, the public relations department of the home ministry said. Companies can apply for an entry visa by paying through the ministry’s e-service portal.
Officials also said that the earlier practice of printing paper visas has been discontinued. The reform was implemented in collaboration with the Department of Housing, the Manpower Authority, and the General Administration of Information Systems. The new reform is based on a cabinet decision to improve e-governance in the country and make government services more available online.
