The key specs of the Nokia G21 Indian variant have surfaced online ahead of the phone’s imminent launch in the country. This year, Nokia is preparing to unveil its smartphones for the Indian market. The Finnish consumer electronics company will launch a new phone dubbed Nokia G21 today, April 26 in the country. Now, before the phone becomes official, leaker Mukul Sharma has pointed out the key specifications of the Nokia G21 Indian variant of Priceba.
Moreover, the report indicates that Nokia is preparing to launch another phone in the country, besides the G21. Nokia is said to be releasing the much-anticipated Nokia G10 today, dubbed the Nokia G11 today, along with the G21. Earlier this year, real images of the Nokia G21 and G11 were spotted online, giving us a glimpse into the design of the upcoming devices. The company will disclose the phone’s specifications, features, price and other details at the launch event. However, before the phone reached India, its specifications surfaced online. As a reminder, the Nokia G21 was first launched in Europe.
Specifications of the Nokia G21 India variant notified before launch
Now, the leaked specifications indicate that the Indian variant will be similar to the model launched in Europe. Notably, the Nokia G21 is being sold at €170 (about INR 13,999) in Europe. Moreover, they are available in two types of storage configurations in the country. You can also choose between Dusk and Nordic Blue color options. The Nokia G20 retails for INR 12,999 in India, and the starting price of the Nokia G21 in India can be around INR 13,000. However, Nokia will reveal the actual price of the Nokia G21 smartphone in India at today’s launch event. The G21 will come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel.
The phone screen will provide HD + resolution (1600 x 720 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Moreover, it features a V-shaped cutout for the phone’s selfie camera. Under the hood, it houses a Unisoc T606 chipset, which will be paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Also, the phone will be shipped with an internal storage capacity of 128GB. You will be able to choose from two storage options including 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage in India. The powerful 5,050 mAh battery will power the entire system. Also, this cell will support 18W fast charging.
In the photography department, the Nokia G21 has a 50MP main camera on the back. In addition, the phone features 2MP rear cameras and LED flash. Up front, it has an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video calls. Moreover, the phone will be running Android 11 OS out of the box. The side bezel will house a fingerprint sensor for security. In terms of connectivity, the G21 offers multiple options such as A-GPS, Galileo, Beidou, GLONASS, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G and dual-band Wi-Fi. Finally, it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
