The case filed on behalf of the Rama Samajam against this was dismissed in 2014 by a separate judge V.M. Velumani had ordered.

The appeal filed on behalf of Shri Ram Samaj against the order came up for hearing again today before a bench comprising Chief Justice Munishwarnath Bandari and Justice Bharat Chakraborty.
