Pilot shortage in US; Airlines to bus service

by time news

U.S. airlines are trying to find pilots amid a nationwide famine. As the famine worsens, airlines have replaced buses with short-haul flights. The decision was made in the realization that bus service is cheaper and easier than air travel. The move is to start service from June 3.

American Airlines and United Airlines, the country’s largest airlines, rely on bus service companies to deliver passengers. The two reached an agreement with a land service bus company called Landline. The contract covers flights from Philadelphia Airport to Alantown (Pennsylvania), 73 miles away, and Atlantic City (New Jersey), 56 miles away.

Service from Denver Airport to Breckenridge and Fort Collins and back. Landline said it had raised $ 28 million through agreements with both airlines and would use it to expand its service to more destinations.
