Manila: India’s Satvik Sairaj Ranky Reddy and Chirac Shetty advanced to the second round of the Asian Badminton Championships.
The Asian Badminton Championships are being held in Manila, Philippines. In the men’s doubles, world number seven Chadwick Sairaj Ranky Reddy of India and Chirac Shetty played against Abiluk Kedarahong of Thailand and Nachanon Dulamok.
Chadwick Sairaj and Chirac Shetty won the match 21-13, 21-9 in 27 minutes. In the 2nd round, Chadwick Sairaj and Chirac Shetty will face Japan’s Akiro Koka and Taisi Saido. In the first round of the mixed doubles, India’s Ishan Patnagar and Tanisha Cristo defeated Hong Kong’s La Seuk Him and Young Na Ding 21-15, 21-17 in straight sets.
