He has three siblings (Sandra, now a writer; Larry, professor of entomology at the University of Illinois; Jim, also an actor and director) but perhaps not everyone knows that his family is related to Abraham Lincoln (the actor a descendant of his mother by the 16th President of the United States, Nancy Hanks).
