Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad opener and captain Kane Williamson was dismissed for 5 and third-ranked Rahul Tripathi for 16. Abhishek Sharma and Markram combined for 96 for the 3rd wicket. Abhishek Sharma, who hit an impressive fifty, was dismissed for 65 off 42 balls. Abhishek hits spin bowler Rashid Khan for six.
Following Abhishek, Markram also scored a fifty. Markram scored 56 runs. Shashank Singh took the lead in the back row. Ferguson hit a hat-trick of sixes in the last over. Shashank Singh hit 25 off just six balls. The Sunrisers, who scored 195 in 20 overs, set a tough target of 196 for the Gujarat Titans.
