Russian President Vladimir Putin has reiterated that he will not hesitate to use nuclear weapons against countries intervening in his war in Ukraine.
He responded that if anyone dreamed that Russia could be intimidated, the answer would be lightning fast and intense.
In a meeting with political leaders in St. Petersburg, Putin said that if anyone wanted to interfere in what was happening outside Russia, they should know that it was an unacceptable threat to Russia.
Vladimir Putin has said that they have all the weapons they need, and that we do not boast about it, but do not hesitate to use it when needed.
But Vladimir Putin warned that he would not comment directly on nuclear weapons. It has also been suggested that the currently integrated Sarmat 2 nuclear missile may be involved.
The Sarmat 2 missile is said to be capable of destroying twice as much area as Britain.
