Maryland Basketball Announces National TV Schedule for 2025-26 Season

A comprehensive television schedule for the upcoming Maryland terrapins basketball season has been released, promising extensive coverage of their 2025-26 campaign. The announcement, made by the Big Ten Conference, details game times and network assignments, setting the stage for what is expected to be an exciting year for Maryland fans.

National Broadcasts Highlight Terps’ Schedule

Maryland will feature in at least four games on national networks, with the potential for a fifth to be added. The Terps’ Big Ten home opener against Michigan is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, with an 8 PM tip-off on FOX. A key stretch in January will see back-to-back games on CBS,beginning with a Saturday,January 24 matchup at Michigan State at 12 PM,followed by a return to the XFINITY Center to host Purdue on Sunday,February 1 at 1 PM.

The regular season will culminate with a televised showdown against illinois at the XFINITY Center on March 8 at 3 PM, broadcast on FOX.

West Coast Swing and Early Season matchups

Maryland’s game at UCLA on Saturday,January 10,at 8 PM,offers flexibility in coverage,potentially airing on either FS1 or FOX. This game kicks off a crucial swing trip to Los Angeles,continuing with a contest against USC on January 13 at 10:30 PM.

The season begins with a game against Coppin State at CFG Arena in Baltimore on November 22 at 6:30 PM, airing on BTN as part of the Hall of fame series.The home opener against Georgetown on friday, November 7, is set for a 6 PM tip-off on FS1.
